Suitable for life indoors and outside, our Medina Safi Rugs feature a simple design and neutral colours. From kitchens and bathrooms to living rooms and bedrooms, the understated natural tones pair perfectly with bare wooden floors and look just as good against dark brooding interiors as they do with light and airy white-washed walls.

Each Medina Safi Rug is made from up to 5,400 recycled plastic bottles. Hand-woven by skilled craftsmen and women in weaving houses that only employ adults who are fairly paid and enjoy comfortable and fair working conditions.
All our textiles and rugs are hand-loomed, so some variations in colour and size can be expected. If you are ordering a rug for a specific sized area, please contact us before ordering so we can check measurements before sending your order out to you.
Please note that as we have designed our recycled plastic bottle yarn to look and feel like natural wool, some pilling can occur, as can some yarn snagging on our looser weaves.

- Composition
- Our rugs are made entirely from recycled plastic making them moth and dust mite resistant. Ideal for pet owners and allergy sufferers. Red wine spills are easily washed. Can be machine washed at 30 degrees, emerging beautifully clean and almost dry.
- Maintenance/Wash
- Hoover or shake out loose debris then machine wash at 30 degrees using a non-biological detergent. Larger 240/170cm and 300/250cm rugs will need to be washed in a commercial laundrette.
